Did you know we have a Mentoring Program?

Mentoring is one of the best ways to get direction and support in your Toastmaster efforts.  Many of us have been in the club for awhile and we're happy to pass on what we've learned (sometimes the hard way) to you!  So if you're new to the club or you just want that little extra boost - or even if you just want some new ideas on how to approach things - PLEASE reach out.  Your fellow members will help you and who knows, maybe you'll even make a new friend.

If you're interested in a partner in Toastmasters - for whatever reason - JUST ASK!  You can contact either myself or Adam MacMillan and we'll get you a mentor. (see About Us for our info)

Cheers,
Janelle

It's also great for the Mentor. Speakers of all levels can increase their own skills by teaching others what they have learned. It always reminds me of martial arts, where the yellow belts teach the white belts, the green belts teach the yellow belts, the brown belts teach the green belts, well you get the idea.

Having a club member to be your mentor or coach defintiely helps in getting to to the goal of improvement faster. Why try to go the long way yourself when you can take the shortcuts in the form of valuable advice and motivation by the mentor?

Can a mentor help out with other issues, such as my eating disorder?
